Quick tips to get glowing

At LARK we believe that wellness starts from within. That’s why our products are made with clean and organic ingredients. But we know that healthy skin starts with practicing healthy habits. We came up with a few tips and tricks to get you glowing!

Maintain a consistent skincare routine

This is important for your skin to keep a healthy PH balance. We recommend exfoliating 2-3x a week with our Jojoba + Turmeric Facial Polish to replenish dead skin cells and aid in cell turnover. We suggest following up with a vitamin c serum like our Aloe + Willowbark Vitamin C Serum and oil to lock everything in. Our Facial Oil is combined with brightening pomegranate and orange oils, your skin will be left glowing!

Stay hydrated

Water is very important (if not most important) because it’s going to aid in flushing out toxins and help with lymphatic drainage. We recommend at least 64 oz. of water per day, try adding lemon or charcoal powder for additional detoxification.

Eat nutritious foods that are going to be kind to the skin

We know that food is medicine. Your skin is constantly screaming for antioxidants, that’s why we use CoQ10 and vitamin C in our products!

Foods that are high in antioxidants:

Dark chocolate: that’s an easy one!

Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, goji berries): Did you know, berries are known to reduce inflammation in the body? This will help with any redness or inflammation you’re battling.

Kale and spinach: We know these are sometimes hard to stick to, we recommend adding these to smoothies or sautéing them before cooking!

Beets: Perfect to add to any salad or dish, or try blending in a juice/smoothie!

Sleep

Your skin replenishes while you sleep, make sure you’re taking time to rest. Your body needs 8-10 hours per night to function properly, and I promise you’ll feel better! Tip: try turning your phone on do not disturb earlier than usual and utilizing the "night mode" to lessen the blue light that keeps your brain in working mode.

Feel your emotions (seriously)

This is just that simple. Allow yourself to feel your emotions and work through them. Once you start feeling what you might have been pushing away, you will feel more confident. Try sticking to healthy habits to see healthy results, your body (and mind) will thank you later!
